Public Consultation No.1
The first public consultation for the West Cork Greenway – Bandon Sections project was held between May and June 2024.
The consultation was held online through this project website and two in-person public consultation days. The in-person public consultation events were held in Bandon Town Hall on 21st May and in Clonakilty in O’Donovans Hotel on 22nd May 2024. Both events were held from 2pm – 8pm and were well attend by interested stakeholders.
An online feedback form was available through the project website, which could be filled out online or sent by email or post. Copies of the feedback form were also made available at the in-person public consultation events and in Bandon and Clonakilty libraries during the consultation period.
In October 2024, the project published a report which outlines key findings from the public consultation and next steps for the project. This report is available for viewing on this website under the Publications and Mapping tab. The document is titled ‘Public Consultation No.1 Report’.
The project team would like to extend their thanks to everyone who took part in the first public consultation. Stakeholder participation and feedback has been invaluable to the project.
